We are looking for a Tier II Network Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in network administration, network engineering, or a similar role.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the installation, configuration, maintenance, updating, monitoring, and troubleshooting of customer network infrastructure and security systems, ensuring secure and efficient data communication.

The role includes working with routers, switches, firewalls, and other active network equipment, as well as supporting and troubleshooting VPN, VRF, network security, VoIP, and related network technologies.

The candidate should have good knowledge of best practices for network infrastructure management, configuration, control, monitoring, backup methodologies, business continuity, and Disaster Recovery.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or similar will be considered an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities:   

 

  • Full support, configuration, maintenance and improvement of the internal network and business clients;
  • Necessary updates and at the request of the manager for the company and for the clients;
  • Ensuring network and connection security through the advanced technology available to the company (be willing to learn about existing and new products on demand);
  • Solve problems reported by the end user, whether internal or company customer;
  • Researches and provides recommendations for network administration and best practices to user demand;
  • Be creative, diligent and able to work in a team;
  • Assists in planning for network installations and configurations based on customer requirements and technical specifications and company;
  • Records all requests, issues and problems and their solution in the Help Desk ticketing system;
  • Interacts with clients and internal staff to resolve key issues raised in the help desk;
  • Execute services build and designed to suit clients' needs and ensure proper delivery of design and integration services as detailed in the consultancy service proposal, the nature of the work or as instructed by the team leader.
  • Be able to apply the necessary general and technical skills related to specific issues in order to implement solutions for the client, upon request to provide reports to the Project Manager, Technical Leader and Client regarding completed tasks, current issues and progress towards goals.
