About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco Meraki and Fortinet technologies to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable network solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise networking, security best practices, and hands-on experience with Meraki cloud-managed networks and Fortinet security appliances.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and Fortinet technologies.
Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, ACLs, and IPSec VPNs.
Experience with Meraki MX, MR, MS, and FortiGate firewall series.
Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and SD-WAN implementations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Cisco Meraki certifications (e.g., CMNA, ECMS).
Fortinet NSE certifications (e.g., NSE 4 or higher).
Experience with scripting or automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.).
Experience working in multi-site or international environments.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure leveraging Cisco Meraki and Fortinet technologies.
Configure and manage FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and other Fortinet products.
Administer Meraki Dashboard for centralized monitoring, troubleshooting, and network optimization.
Perform routine network audits, health checks, and performance tuning.
Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures.
Ensure high availability and redundancy of network systems.
Troubleshoot complex networking issues across LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network requirements for new projects or expansions.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topologies, and standard operating procedures.
